98% of all Australians have had at least one Covid ‘vaccine’

Is such a large percentage evidence of statistical, or political, malfeasance?

Throughout the Covid era in Australia, a debate has lingered within the medical freedom movement over just how many of us have submitted to, or indeed embraced, the Covid ‘vaccine’.  One camp does not believe that the Australian population has meekly lined up like cattle for the jab and that there must surely be more vaxx dissidents out there than official government figures proclaim.  Others, myself included, are unsurprised that the initial population penetration for the experimental, injectable Covid gene-therapy drug has been near universal in Australia given the astronomical levels of virus fear, the wild delusions of Zero Covid and the stark policy heavy-handedness (including authoritarian vaxx mandates) of federal and state governments in this country.

So, what do the available figures actually say about the level of Australians’ compliance, forced or otherwise, with the injections and how trustworthy are those figures?

We all know that the government data on Covid cases, hospitalisations and deaths is not worth a brass razoo.  The traditional definition of a ‘case’ of the disease called ‘Covid’ (a disease which is indistinguishable from the common cold for most and from the flu for some, perhaps because that is all that ‘Covid’ ever really was) was divorced from any clinical determination of the disease based on symptoms and which relied solely on junk PCR and do-it-yourself RAT/LFT tests.

The entire ‘pandemic’ was built on this fraudulent platform of fake ‘cases’ to generate the impression of a bona-fide ‘pandemic’.  Hospitalisations, and deaths, were also inflated for Covid - fall off a ladder and go to hospital where you ‘test positive’ for Covid and you become a Covid hospitalisation.  Die from your ladder fall and you are a ‘Covid death’.  This ‘pandemic’ data hoax was central to the government fear narrative on Covid (Worst Disease Ever, must lockdown and mask, must vaxx to get out of lockdown/mask).

The Australian Immunisation Register

When it comes to Covid vaccinations, however, the main source of data, the Commonwealth government’s Australian Immunisation Register (AIR), is reliable because it is a simple administrative dataset of robust integrity.  I must declare an interest here as I spent a large chunk of my public service career in Canberra (‘Making Life Better For You!’) in the Department of Health working on health data issues (data extraction, data quality, systems integrity and statistical policy).

Administrative databases like Medicare (which includes the AIR, the Medicare Benefits Schedule, the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme and public hospital admissions) simply record every interaction with Australia’s universal health care system based on a person’s unique Medicare Card number, capturing every GP consultation, prescription pharmaceutical, public hospital procedure, vaccination, etc.

That is the boring beauty of administrative databases – data capture is routine, the province of tech nerds.  The information contained in the massive Medicare database simply can not be manipulated.  The government can, however, ‘disappear’ any data that no longer supports the official Virus/Vaxx Narrative by the simple expedient of not publishing it.

Shout it from the rooftops when the early vaxx take-up shows nearly all of Australia ‘getting with the program’ but when the vaxx  program data starts to run out of puff you can simply choose not to release it publicly as a standard data output, which is exactly what the Department of Health has done from February 2023.

So, here is what we can piece together statistically from the AIR before the Covid vaxx data performed its great vanishing act.  Ramesh Thakur, former United Nations Assistant Secretary-General, emeritus professor in the Crawford School of Public Policy at the ANU in Canberra and a sterling Covid dissident, writing for the Brownstone Institute in November 2022, noted that “official data from the Health department show that, nationwide, 95.2% of over-16’s had received at least two doses of a Covid vaccine”.

This figure would presumably have been a percentage point or two higher if we include those who had the first shot but who bailed on the jab conveyor-belt after having a bad reaction – my recollection of the no-longer-available stats is that the at-least-one-jab population was in the 98% region before declining slightly to 95-96% or so for jab number two.

The Department of Health have left a back door open, however, to enable calculation of more current estimates of the ‘ever-vaccinated’ population.  They still publish raw data in an Excel worksheet on Covid vaccination (drawn from the AIR) including the number of people ever vaccinated and the number never vaccinated.  This shows that, at 28 June 2023, only 407,225 Australians aged 18+ had not received any Covid jab.  This is a mere 1.5% of Australia’s 19.6 million total population aged 18+.  The other 98.5% had received at least one injection since the vaxx rollout began in February 2021.

Herding such impressive numbers of Australians into the jabbing pens is a diabolical testament to government force and stage-managed fear.  If there had been too many Vaxx Unbelievers roaming freely in Australia it would have looked bad for the Authorised Covid Narrative and thus coercion was necessary to get as many Australians as possible to join the congregation worshipping the Great God Vaxx as the Way, the Truth and the Light.  Statistical malfeasance is not necessary when propaganda and coercion will do the trick.

Survey data

Aside from the AIR, the only other source of data is randomly selected population surveys.  The only one that has been done on Covid-vaxx take-up is by Essential Research which was conducted on-line at the end of December 2021.  Of the one thousand Australian adults (aged 18+) who were surveyed, 86% had already had one or more doses or would get one ASAP, 5% had booked in for their first whilst a further 4% would get one but ‘not right away’.  Only 5% ‘will never get one’.  The survey margin of error was 3.1% which means that the true estimate of the ‘will never vaxx’ population could be anywhere between 1.9% and 8.1%.

Synthesising the AIR and survey data shows that some 98%, or at least something north of 95%, of all adult Australians have had at least one injection with the experimental gene-therapy drug for a virus which poses them no harm, which doesn’t work and which offers the possibility of short to long-term harm up to and including death.

Australia is indeed a world leader in Covid vaccination.  Based on official government sources (so any desire to exaggerate vaccine coverage would apply to all countries and Australia alone could not be accused of cooking the books), Our World In Data shows that Australia was more jab-happy - or jab-compelled - than nearly all the rest of the world.  Globally, “70.3% of the world population has received at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine”, well below Australia’s jab penetration rate.  Amongst comparable (developed) countries, only Portugal, Canada and Spain have pipped us whilst we are neck and neck with Japan.

Why is it so?

So, what was going on in Australia to make us a world vaxx leader?  The Covid vaxx rode in on the coat-tails of the ‘vaccine’ faith, capitalising on the undeserved ‘halo effect’ of the childhood vaccination programs which have taken the credit for the heavy lifting done by better sanitation, water, nutrition, housing etc. half a century or more before most vaccines even appeared on the scene.  With Covid, the magic word ‘vaccine’ won over the bulk of the population (most exasperatingly the ill-named ‘intelligentsia’) who unwisely placed their trust in government and the medical/pharma industry and became unwitting participants in a mass social experiment in behaviour modification.

The degree of Covid hysteria in Australia was phenomenal.  I have been around the political traps for very many decades and I have never seen any political passion or social issue take off like Covid hysteria, whilst our island status encouraged a frantic, delusory belief in Zero Covid.

The White Knight role of the Covid ‘vaccines’ was heightened by the degree of Covid hysteria in Australia but it was by means limited to our country, however.  What appears to have set Australia apart vaxx-wise was the authoritarian genius of our governments – the job mandates, the movement passes, the extreme policing, helicopters and army enforcing lockdowns, etc.  The convict-origin, anti-authoritarian larrikin reputation of Australians did not withstand the light of day when it mattered, allowing the Covid jailers to rule the roost.

A silver lining

The stunningly high rate of initial Covid vaccine take-up, however, needs to be qualified by acknowledging that many of the jabbed were reluctant medical conscripts rather than willing volunteers who flooded the jab centres to do their bit for the war effort against the virus.

Compass polling in November 2021 found that almost half (42%) of Australians felt pressured into vaccination and that just over half of those (56%) felt the main source of pressure was from the government.  The provenance of Compass Polling is not all that open to scrutiny (they provide commissioned poll data to only the client and publish no results of their surveys, including such vital metadata as sample frame, sample size, margin of error, etc.) but, if the vaxx data from this poll is at all ball-park accurate, some 20% of injected Australians only got the shot because the government bullied them (no-jab-no-job mandates, vaccine passports, etc.) whilst another 20% or so felt pressure from family and ‘friends’ who had been sub-contracted by the government into becoming grass roots vaxx evangelists.  If left to their own devices, therefore, around two in five Australians would have relegated the Covid shots to a very low rung on their to-do list, if they bothered to get one at all.  Getting a Covid jab would have ranked as less important than, say, getting the dog shampooed for around 40% of Australians.

The 1.5% ‘never-vaxxed’ rate is, therefore, deceptive as a metric of the number of Covid vaxx heretics in Australia, including from the early days.  It is statistically accurate, all right, but it doesn’t mean that all 98.5% of Australians were terribly happy about getting jabbed when the hypodermic frenzy kicked off.

What this near universal, early vaccination rate does mean, however, is that the default finger of suspicion for ‘sudden’, ‘unexpected’, ‘unexplained’, ‘baffling’ deaths points to the Covid vaxx.  Queensland roller-derby skater, Keira Dascoli-Guymer, all of eighteen years of age, died suddenly and unexpectedly last month from cardiac arrest.  Queensland had widespread vaccine mandates, including for organised sports competitions.  Her doctors were utterly ‘baffled’, of course, by the death of a “perfectly fit and healthy”, vibrant young woman – “her heart just stopped and they don’t know why”, lamented her mother.  Oh, I think her doctors know why but they dare not say so.  This is the New Normal (remember that?) that the Covid nutters, and their vaxx quacks, have bequeathed to us.

There are many good people on our side and they are working diligently to hold to account the Big Pharma perpetrators, and their political facilitators, who have prematurely snuffed out the lives of so many Australians.  There will be a reckoning.  There must be a reckoning.
